Our Esports Competive program is for students who are wanting and ready to represent Gorzycki Middle School in statewide competive play. This program is available to all Gorzycki Middle School 7th & 8th graders. Just like a regular sport, tryouts, practices, and games are required, all of which take place on Gorzycki's campus. Students who participate in this program are required to maintain campus behaviorial expectations and a passing GPA.

This is a fantastic opportunity for young gamers to showcase their skills and compete. To become a part of this dynamic team, interested students must submit an application below and participate in tryouts.

Students will compete in teams using the online gaming platform TexSef. The gaming season lasts from September 14 through December 14th. Our Fall season practices and games will be held on Mondays from 4-5:30pm. Students MUST have an adult able to pick up at 5:30. Qualifying teams that reach the semifinals and finals may be required to travel to in-person playing at an official gaming arena.

The Fall season offers the following games on Mondays:

• iRacing

• Mario Kart 8

• Overwatch

• Valorant

Please understand that the games we choose will be based on popular interest. We encourage students to keep an open mind and to choose more than one game to play, knowing that all may not be offered. Complete the questionaire below and we will email you with details on tryouts and start times.
